EasyVIPER is a generic workflow engine. VIPER stands for VIrtual Process Engine with Reconfiguration. The Intent concept coming from SCA standard allows to add non functional operations like debugging, persistance or monitoring.
The EasyVIPER main component is the Workflow engine core that receives and sends messages coming from and going to an external environment. The external environment component is an abstract component dedicated to external / internal messages conversion. The abstract model is an abstract component dedicated to workflow model management (when there is one), that is to say, a model registry and a model compilation module.
The component-based mechanism allows to introspect into executing workflows and to modify at runtime some of their components for adaptation.

This particularity brings adaptation features for long and dynamic workflows.
